How do your funds help support Spring Ridge?
Consider making a tax-deductible donation or becoming a Sponsor to support Spring Ridge Elementary and the variety of efforts of the PTO.
Instructional Support
Teachers all have the ability to purchase extra supplies and educational resources for their classrooms, and be reimbursed by the PTO. Additionally, the PTO helps provide access to learning applications used in the classroom such as Brain Pop & IXL.
Student Development
Supporting extra programs and experiences for students such as Destination Imagination, extra Field Trips and 5th Grade Outdoor Ed.
Improving Our School
Funds also help to support programs that keep our school & community safe & welcoming. Some of these programs include recycling school-wide, landscaping around the school grounds, ensuring we have stop-signs and street-safety equipment, and maintaining our playground equipment, to name a few.
Experiences for students
The PTO supports so many fun activities and events throughout the year like the Fun Run, Fall Family Fest, Classroom Parties, Carnival & Bingo for Books. Funds also go towards student's Birthday Books, 5th Grade Field Day, K-5 Fun Day, Open House, and the First Day of School Celebrations.
Supporting the Local Community
Each year we aim to give back to the community in different ways. The programs we participate in can change year to year. Currently, the PTO supports the Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation Scholarship, Bids 4 Kids and Womenade's programs, the 'Backpack Project' and the 'Holiday Giving Tree'.
