Parade

• The parade will begin at 2:15 p.m. with kindergarten leading the way, followed by the other grade levels in order. Students will exit the building through Door 9 (the 5th grade door) and follow the sidewalk along the intermediate playground. They will then turn right onto 178th Street and continue walking along the west side of the street. The parade will turn right onto Shadow Ridge Drive and conclude as students re-enter the building through the front doors. Please spread out along the entire route and stand on the edges. Please do not park along the pick up lane. Thank you for your help to ensure a safe and efficient dismissal.

Parties

• The class parties will begin at approximately 2:30.
• Information about volunteering will be coming directly from the PTO
• You must be a classroom volunteer to attend

Costumes

• Students are not required to wear a costume for the party or the parade. Please reach out to your child’s teacher if your child will not be participating in the Fall Party so our team can plan accordingly.
• If your child chooses to wear a costume he/she must adhere to these guidelines.

1. Please send only items that your child can put on by him/herself.
2. Costumes and accessories resembling weapons or weapon look-alikes are prohibited at school. This includes plastic/fake knives, swords, guns, spears, hatchets, and any other items that resemble a weapon.
3. Please use your best judgement and avoid costumes that might scare young students.
4. No face paint.
