PTO funds pay for subscriptions to learning applications like IXL and Brain Pop as well as reimbursements to teachers who need to purchase additional classroom supplies and material. A portion of PTO funds goes to show our teachers how much we appreciate their hard word and dedication to our children throughout the school year.
Every year the PTO works hard to ensure there is fun to be had at Spring Ridge all year around! Towards the beginning of the school year students get to participate in the Annual Fun Run and Fall Family Fest. A Scholastic Book Fair is normally held during fall conferences. During the winter months, students can plan to attend Halloween Costume Parade & Classroom Parties, Bingo for Books, The Book Swap and Valentines Day Celebrations. Then to wrap up the year, we bring students and their families back together for Carnival in May.

Each year the PTO has opportunities to support our local community. There are two primary ways we give back.
For several years, we’ve sponsored the Spring Ridge Elementary Scholarship, through the Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation in which a designated committee annually selects one former Spring Ridge Elementary Student to receive the scholarship.
Secondly, during the holidays, the PTO organizes the Celebration of Giving – where Spring Ridge families have the opportunity to purchase holiday gifts for under-privileged families in the local community, through a gift drive organized by Womenade of Elkhorn.
